Online forms to place articles on reserve: Book,
CD, or Video Reserve Form | Article
Reserve Form Any faculty member may place materials on reserve which will be used intensively by his/her students. Reserve materials are located at Circulation and will circulate for 1-, 3- or 7-day loans, or may be restricted to "library use only" for two hours as designated by the faculty member. Please allow 3 days for items to be placed on reserve. The Reserve forms should be submitted with the material to be placed on reserve to the Circulation Desk at least one week before class assignments are made. Faculty may place library-owned books and journal articles on Reserve except for Reference books. In addition, instructors can place their own copies of items such as lecture notes, solutions to homework and tests, sample exams, personal copies of books and journal articles. At the end of the semester or semesters designated on the reserve request form, the material will automatically be removed from reserve unless another form has been submitted. A notice will be sent when material is removed from reserve; personal or departmental copies should be picked up at the Circulation Desk. In order to be in full compliance with Public Law 94-553 concerning copyright, faculty placing materials on reserve should follow these guidelines:
