Guidelines for reserving articles

Check to see if the library owns the journal: Journals
List.

Citations in this form must be the same as citations in the course syllabi.

Chambers Library complies with copyright law of the U.S. and the Limitation
on Exclusive Right: Fair Use (17 U.S.C. 107). More information

If the article is on reserve for more than one semester, the instructor
is responsible for obtaining permission from the copyright holder.

If written copyright permission is not filed with the library by the second
week of the second semester the article is on Reserve, the library will
route materials back to the professor.

Articles cannot be on Reserve for more than one semester without permission from the
copyright holder.

Requests are processed within one (1) to two (2) working days.

Please call the Circulation Desk before placing a personal item on Reserve.
- Reserves staff does not pull and copy articles for faculty for Reserves
- please send or bring a copy of the article to the Circulation Desk.
